Die Bergziege – Blankeneses besonderer Bus

This episode of Die Nordreportage visits the idyllic staircase quarter of Hamburg-Blankenese, a hillside neighbourhood reached by some 5,000 steps. Bus route 488, affectionately known as the “Bergziege” (mountain goat), makes everyday life easier for the residents. Especially popular is driver Dusko Milanovic-Lütyens, whose friendly manner keeps everyone in good spirits and who has turned the bus into his “living room”.
