There is no night-flight ban in Hanover, and many holiday flights take off very early in the morning. To get passengers safely to their destinations, aircrews, police, paramedics and waste collectors work around the clock. The pressure rises above all in the summer holidays, when holiday-hungry travellers from Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia stream to the airport to board the next flight south.
