Die Cannabis-Bilanz – Wie viel kiffst du, Deutschland?

One year of Germany’s cannabis law: has legalisation increased consumption? In Stuttgart, wastewater is monitored without gaps, and the residues in it now reveal how cannabis use is developing. ARD Wissen reporter Frank Seibert climbs down into the sewers himself, follows a cannabis club on the way to its first harvest and takes stock with doctors, police and the judiciary. The law was meant to reduce crime and protect consumers from risks. Has it succeeded?

The film is in German.
