The film takes us on a journey around the world, through Namibia, Australia, India, Colombia, Japan and Germany, where Beethoven fans from all cultures and walks of life share their personal stories. It becomes clear how universally Beethoven’s music touches, inspires and shapes people, regardless of ethnic, religious or social differences. From a young violinist in the slums of Namibia and a conductor in Australia to a breakdancer in Colombia and a child prodigy pianist in India, the film tells moving and extraordinary stories that show how Beethoven’s music stays alive across generations.
